Block Puzzle Master

Block Puzzle Master keeps its central challenge focused entirely on placement: fit each falling block shape into the grid as precisely as possible, since clearing full lines is the only way to stop the stack from climbing out of control. A shape wedged into a gap it barely fits can leave an awkward pocket that stays out of reach for many pieces afterward, so rotating a piece to match a gap's exact outline is almost always worth the extra second over dropping it into the first open space available. Later stretches pack in a wider variety of shapes with less forgiving geometry, rewarding players who plan two or three pieces ahead rather than reacting to only the piece currently falling. There's no way to undo a poor placement, so treating every drop as deliberate rather than reactive keeps a run going far longer than average.
